8 hours long sightseeing tour in Budapest

– with all the well-known and unknown sights, local flavours, urban legends and “everything behind”  – à la Behind Budapest.

Our full-day long private sightseeing tour is more than a simple walking tour. By the end of the day you will feel like being a local, a Budapest-expert indeed. We discover both sides of the Hungarian  Buda and Pest, wander around the monumental Heroes square, discover small, hidden streets. During the walking tour we try signature dishes and admire the amazing panorama of the city from different heights.

Our recommended itinerary for an 8 hours long private sightseeing tour is the following: Heroes square, City park (Vajdahunyad Castle and Szechenyi spa), Andrassy avenue, State Opera House (despite being under reconstruction the lobby is still open for visitors), St. Stephen’s Basilica, Liberty square, House of Parliament. On the Buda side we mostly focus our attention to the so-called Castle district, where we show you the Matthias church and we leave enough time to take-in the magnificent views of the Fisherman’s bastion.

The above listed itinerary is a suggestion. As all our tours are private tours we are at most happy to customize your tour in order to match your specific interest!

In order to cover the well-known and unknown sights of Budapest, we recommend to utilize the local public transit during the 8 hours long walking tour.
