On this Valentine’s special walking tour, your guide introduces you to Budapest’s golden age through a playful, story-driven perspective: How did a single Hungarian soul navigate love and dating in the early 1900s? What is this exactly and what will happen during the tour?

You will meet a time traveler from the early 1900s at Oktogon, where he will introduce you to the belle époque; what he wears, where he came from, and how he’s trying to find the love of his life. During your walk he will show you where could young gentlemen buy outfits to look properly for a first date, what was a suitable gift for a young lady, where could and where couldn’t the 19th century bachelors meet noblewomen in those times. You’ll get familiar with courting habits, wedding traditions and the key to eternal love.

During the tour you can also try some Hungarian goodies, like pálinka or special Valentine’s-day-chocolates.
