Budapest by night – have a date with the city

Without a doubt Budapest is one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe. The city shows its best when dressed in its evening gown.

This driving tour is designed for those who are interested in photography, also for the late risers and for those who would like to see the city without dealing with traffic jams and hordes of visitors at the major sites of Hungarian capitol city.

First thing first after hotel pick up is to drive up to the Gellert hill to get an overview of the city from the highest point in downtown and to enjoy multiple vantage points. The Citadel is also known for photographers heaven where postcard pictures are easy to be taken!

We can either wait there for the lights to be turned on, or we can continue to the Buda Castle Hill, where you can admire the beauty of the Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion illuminated with floodlights.
One of the upsides of taking an evening tour is that the Southern section of the Fisherman’s Bastion is open to all visitors after 8pm.

The tour continues to the Pest side of the city where we also focus on the signature sights, like on the House of Parliament, Andrassy avenue and Heroes square.
