Researching and learning about architecture, history, urban legends and fun facts is a never ending project for me as it makes me proud to show the beautiful sights of Hungary to our visitors. Just like Budapest, the Hungarian countryside is full of wonders, breathtaking views over vineyards by the lake Balaton or Tokaj, mystic forests of the Danube bend, hidden, reed roof villages, folkloric traditions, aristocratic palaces and mansions had been renovated in the recent past. And of course, for the real local experience, food, coffee and wine are the key to emerge in the local culture. We can talk about food with real passion and have serious culinary debats. I firmly believe that our environment shapes us and being raised in Budapest, I was surrounded as a child by all these legends, traditions, urban myths and beautiful architecture- at the time, when the socialist dictatorship was about to collapse, the city was in a pretty bad shape but I was raised to see the beauty in its shabby chic. By now the city has been renewed and it became the real, shiny pearl of the Danube. Budapest offers one of the most breathtaking views in the whole world and our culture and language is so unique, I am pleased to tell you all the fun facts and show you the hidden gems along with the historical major sights and the best views!
