I’ve been working in tourism since 2008– first as a licensed tour guide and interpreter, and later I also got involved in organizing tours. Since completing my guiding qualification, I started working almost immediately – in Turkey, where I spent three summer seasons guiding. I always returned to my beloved Budapest in the wintertime, where I conducted city tours for small groups. I'm a third-generation Budapester, so I truly have this city (and country) in the palm of my hand. After my presentation, she told me that I was in great luck as this is a real job and it is called being a tour guide. I took the hint and got my tour guide license.
