Christmas market tour
Key attractions of Budapest and a taste of the local Christmas fairs in 3 hours!
A lot can fit in our 3 hours long walking tour: a comprehensive sightseeing tour that is long enough to see some of the „essential” sites of Budapest.
Leaving Intercontinental Hotel we pass by the iconic Chain bridge before getting to the Christmas fair at the St. Stephen’s Basilica. We grab there some mulled wine to warm up before we continue our walk to the House of Parliament.
To reach the Andrassy avenue illuminated by thousands of led lights creating a superb holiday atmosphere we take a bus from the House of Parliament.
Before arriving to the metropolitan Christmas market at Vorosmarty square we walk along Andrassy avenue where we can also step into the lobby of the Hungarian State Opera House.
This way you can combine a general sightseeing tour with the visit of the two nicest Christmas fairs to make sure you get a taste of the Hungarian holiday season.
We offer this tour between the 23rd of November and the 30th of December. Due to Christmas being a national holiday in Hungary, markets are not open. Having that in mind we dont accept bookings for the 24th, 25th and 26th of December.
We strongly recommend to book this Christmas market tour for the afternoon. Our suggestions is a starting time between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
